Nepal's Voicescape

Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowship (2026–2028)
at the University of Antwerp

This upcoming project will explore how displaced and stateless women in Kathmandu, Nepal voice rights and belonging in the face of legal exclusion and border violence. Grounded in participatory action research and storytelling methods, the project will centre lived experience to examine how rights are claimed, reshaped, and imagined from below.

Voicescape will build a praxis-led approach to law and development. It will engage with women as co-researchers and collaborators, and contribute new thinking on borders, citizenship, and collective justice.

Updates on fieldwork, events, and reflections will be added here throughout the project.
