This blog will follow my MSCA postdoctoral journey of Nepal's Voicescape throughout my fellowship at the University of Antwerp. 'Voicescape' was a term I chose when considering the concept of the borderscape; a framework that understands borders not as fixed lines but as lived, contested spaces shaped by power, movement, and exclusion.

I am currently writing and editing my first academic book: Borderscapes in Law and Development, based on my PhD journey. This book like my PhD thesis is written as both an academic text but also with a magical realist novel at the centre. As I have been editing, I reflected back on an online conference I attended last year, at Oxford University on magical realism.
